Challenge
Duodopa is a medication for Parkinson’s disease that involves a significantly more complex administration method—an intestinal pump—than usual. The patient and caregivers must have a precise understanding of the procedure. A patient-facing video was needed to explain the process in a simple and reassuring manner, taking into account a target audience that may be elderly or anxious.
Solution
A patient video was created to explain the use of the medication step-by-step, using a reassuring tone. The video’s structure follows the patient's natural process and employs visuals that support the verbal explanation at every stage.
Result
The video helps reduce anxiety about the new treatment procedure and supports the correct use of the treatment.
